Hi, I’m Matteo, a guitarist since 1999, when my parents gave me a classical guitar for my birthday. I immediately began to play classical rock & blues songs, while listening some old cassettes and vinyls.
In 2008, with three Friends: Nicola, Michele and Simone, we founded our first band: “I shot the sheriff” and we began to play our own songs at the live events.
From 2010 to 2012, with my own band “Matteo Longo & The Desperados Bluesband”, I played guitar and sang, we played classical and oldie blues songs.
After a pause due to two car accidents and a university career as a nurse, I started studying guitar with guitar teacher Aldo Betto and trained vocally with vocal coach Miriam Colletto.
In 2021, I started my carreer as music engineer, specializing in mixing and mastering, studying through internet tutorials and advice from friends.
In January 2022, I released my first EP titled “Laura’s escape”, available on Spotify and all other streaming platfoms, with a special thanks to my friends Gius Taak and Andrew Ardo, from Barçelona.
In April 2022, I finished with my music engineer course via FondazioneRap.
My First EP’s story
“Laura’s escape” was created on January 2021 and published a year later, as a CD, digital streaming and download.
The four track in this EP speaking about me and my good friend Laura who escaped from a story with her BF.
